Just for Leah...and Heather

These pictures are for Aunt Leah, so that she could see how cute Madison looked in the cloths she bought her. I had these cloths at home during our trip because I thought they'd be too big, however this baby is a grower. She is well over 14lbs already and is 25" long. Therefore, she is wearing 6mo.-9mo. clothing. Crazy...she's not even 4mo yet.

Here is my cousin Heather with Madison from our trip.

Here is Joshua and his beautiful blue eyes.
And the happy family that was with us at Creator Lake

The rest of our Summer Trip

On our way from Wallowa Lake and onto Vancouver WA so see cousin Ron. As you drive west you pass Multnomah Falls. It was increadible how this thing is right by a major freeway. I can only imagin that tourist have accidents trying to rubber neck while driving by. There is a parking lot and rest stop in the middle of the highway.

Here we are at Creator Lake, OR. It was cool and beautiful. We viewed the lake at about 1ooo feet above. We were only their for a day so we didn't take a tour. Next time.

I am holding Joshua Ankney, my cousin's 7mo old. He is the happiest baby I have ever met. He also has the most beautiful eyes ever seen.

Here I am holding Madison at Hearst Castle in CA. We stayed in San Siemon for a few days and enjoyed the cool weather before heading home to the heat.
Cassidy loves the water. Even the ocean. We thought she'd head out to swim, but the waves kinda made her nervous. So she stayed on the shore.

The Men and Madison

Here is Grandpa Moon getting ready to feed Madison. Here he is talking to her. She is so fascinated by him.

Here is Daddy and Madison sitting by the fire together. How cute.

Madison's first time at the lake and feeling the water. She wasn't in a great mood that afternoon, but she loves water.

Who's the binki for? Daddy or Madison??

The Dogs at Wallowa Lake

We took the dogs down the the lake for a walk. Belle hates water, whereas Cassidy loves it.

They got to run and play. It was a nice time and it was fun to let them run off some of their energy.

Cassidy loves to swim. She will run straight in, even if you're not throwing something for her to fetch.

Belle will only get her feet wet and thats it!

Grandma Moon and Me...

Grandma Moon doesn't get many chances to spoil Madison. So, when we arrived to M-F, she bought Madison a chair that helps with sitting up. She was unsure of this chair, but since has gotten more interested in it.

In M-F they have wild turkeys that roam around town. Here was a Mom Turkey and her babies. I thought they were cute, but Lucille shews them away. Apparently they're a problem, because they eat your flowers and dig at the garden. However, as a visitor, I thought they were cute.

A night on the town...

Here is Grandma Moon holding Madison while we were all at an outdoor show. I can't remember the show's name, but it was pretty neat and a fun night. It was a beautiful night as well in Walla Walla, WA.

Here is Aunt Lucille and Cousin Morgan. Morgan loved holding Madison and she too was helpful, while Jan and I were shopping for fabric at a quilt shop.

Here is Aunt Tammy and Uncle Paul.

Here is dear friend Susie finally getting the chance to hold Madison. Unfortunatly she was getting fussy due to all of the holding. So she gladly handed the fussy baby back over, and I didn't blame her at all. She gave it an honest try.

Our first time rolling over

Here is Madison attempting to roll from her front (doing tummy time) to her back. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to get the whole action, as you know these things happen fast.

Paul and Tammy's Anniversary Party

Here is Ainsley and Ava admiring the new girl to the group. These two were so cute huddled over Madison.

Here is Cousin Tennelle holding Madison for the first time. I'm sure she misses holding babies since her's are growing up so fast.

Here is Cousin Tiffany holding Madison. She was so helpful and would grab Madison when ever we were in the same room. Here babies are growing up fast too.

Ainsley was dying to see Madison and hold her, so here they are. Ainsley was very sweet, and drew her a picture and made her a bracelet.

Here is Aunt Tammy getting her time in. It was so nice being around all of this family and be able to see their love for our little addition to the Moon family. I was truly spoiled with all of the help too. I only wish I could have taken some of these very kind people home with me. Especially now that Corey has gone back to work and she is teething...yes I did say teething.

Our Summer Vacation

Corey, Madison, the dogs, and I were all planning on driving up when he finished his testing, however we came up with the idea of me flying to M-F a week earlier for a longer visit. It was much nicer being in an airplane for two hours vs. a 14+ hour drive. So it wasn't difficult for me to go for the flight. Madison did very well. She slept and ate while we were in flight. God was kind enough to ease my stress by placing me by a man who had 6 kids. Five of which were boys. Therefore, he was very understanding, even though she was really good.
Here is the happy Grandma and Grandpa with little Madison after seeing her at three weeks old. They were so surprised at how big she got since then. She was three months at the time of this trip.

Here is Aunt Leah meeting Madison for the first time.

Leah holding Madison at dinner.

Construction Zone - The final end of the living room additon!!

Here is Corey working hard to get the living room sanded and ready for paint. We were having the carpet and couches delivered in a day or so, therefore the painting needed to be done. Yeah, if it only worked out that way...

We were still painting when the carpet guys arrived... Less than perfect timing, but none the less, we now have very nice carpet.

While they are hammering away, very loudly, Madison sleeps. This baby will sleep through all sorts of noises, but giver her a quite room and forget it.

Pool Time with Friends

We spent the 4th of July at our friends Luke and Christine's house. They have a beautiful back yard and pool, plus they are good friends. Madison did very well (as she always does in water) and hung out by the pool. Even got a nap in right by the pool.

This is Christine holding Madison.

This is our other friends Matt and Lori. (Lori not in the pict.) They were there as well.

Here is 'Uncle' Luke. He was already spoiling her with attention by rubbing her arms and back. What a gentle giant. :o)
