Madison in October...5 months old

Here is Madison eating peas... Yum. She actually likes them. I wish I had caught the pict of her sneezing on me while having a mouth full of peas. It was a wonderful display of green dots everywhere.

Everything goes into her mouth now that she knows how to put them there. She is teething, but no teeth yet.

She has also discovered her toes. So every chance she gets they're also in her mouth.

Madison being cute.

Here is Madison looking super cute playing with her new blanket that Grandma Jan sent and Aunt Lucille helped make.

This morning, Madison nearly made her first step towards crawling. She likes that one toy (the one in her hands) and she kept putting her legs under her butt and pushing off. Her upper body isn't quite strong enough to help her through it.

Madison and her Jumper and 1st Bit of Food

Thank you Aunt Tammy, Uncle Paul, Cousins Pate's and Ziegler's for her bouncer. She absolutely loves it. I don't know what we would be doing with this baby if we didn't have it. She can last about 30 min at a time, jumping and playing with the toys.

It is so cool to see her interacting with her environment. She is teething though, so everything is in the drool zone. I am doing laundry constantly.

Here is Madison taking her first few bites of carrots. It took her a while to get the idea of food. She would spit out just about every effort of food that went in. Finally, Daddy realize that if we put the food up to her lips, she'd slurp it. Then finally, she began swallowing. She is much better now. So far we've eaten carrots, green beans, sweet potato, and today we are starting peas. Yeah. By the way, did you know that what a baby eats, that becomes the color of their poop. Nice.

Martha and New Bo.

Here is Martha's new boyfriend J.R.. Sounds like Dallas. He is really nice and is a good match for her. I hope it works out. Keep them in your prayers. By the way, that's our new living room. Yeah!!!

The 80's Birthday Party for Patty !!

Here is Corey and I dressed to impress at an 80's prom. Originally, we weren't going to dress, then when I saw what our friends and neighbors, Hank and Jill were wearing, I jumped in the car and drove to the local thrift shop. There, with only a few hours to waste, I found this lovely 80's formal dress and shirt and wig for Corey. I still had a crimper from when I was a young girl, so we were set.
This is Patty, completely surprised about the whole event. She only received a letter that week about picking out a dress from a group of dresses and being ready that coming Sat night for dinner. Since she missed her senior prom the first time, friends through her a surprise prom for her birthday. She was the prom queen.

Here is Mac Daddy Corey at the mic. It is a good thing we don't have one of these karaoke machines of our own.

Oh, yeah. He was the 80's rocker if you didn't guess.

Hausner Family

This is Madison's Great Aunt Sandy. She is my Father's brother's wife. They visited us one weekend, and it was a nice treat. It has been years since we've all been together, and they wanted to meet Madison. We all went to Mimi's Cafe for brunch, and visited for hours.

This is Aunt Sandy and Uncle Terry. He is my father's brother.
