Well...we finally made it to see Santa. One of the last days to do it too. I just didn't know how to do it. I didn't know how to look into it, or where to go, or when. So, finally Corey and I found out where and when, and went. Then we found a three hour wait, and Corey had to be a work in two. So we ended up going to another mall, designed for the tourist, and we practically walked right up. This guy was like the real thing. He had a real beard and was very nice. Madison cried, of course, but she stopped because I was at Santa's right leg talking to her and Corey was at the camera. Thankfully, they got a pretty good picture considering all that is going on around her.

Big Bear Cont.
Here are the guys we hired to bail us out of trouble. When the guys dug us out before, they got some pretty bad sores on their hands and they were wiped out. This way it was done and we could still enjoy our day.
Even though I threw out my back, I managed to make my first snowman. The snow was so dry that it didn't want to stick to itself. I wish we could have skied, but the Dr. said no. I couldn't even handle Maddy, so it was good for it to have happened while I had Corey around.
Martha and J.R. stayed for three nights, and we had a blast with them. We played cards, ate food, and watched movies. They tried to go skiing, but that was the day we had to get dug out of the snow, so they didn't make it in time for their lessons. They're going to go up again before the season is out.
Big Bear Lake 2008
We went to Big Bear Lake, CA for my 30th birthday. When we arrived there was no snow, but rain/snow was in the forecast. Within a day and a half, we had a consistent storm that dumped almost a foot of snow. The dogs had fun playing with the snow. Then a day past with clear sky's and another storm followed. This storm brought feet with it. The first day Corey dug us out of the snow, but when the real storm came, we hired some guys to get us out.

Madison and the Christmas Tree
Here is Maddy trying to eat a Christmas ornament. She isn't crawling in the traditional sense, but is getting around on her belly or rolling. Therefore, she gets around and before I know it she's at a present or trying to get an ornament off the tree.
Thanksgiving
Here is our Thanksgiving Dinner. Corey had to work during the day, but he got off around 3. Just in time for dinner and Jan's stuffing. Yummm. Madison is still too little for real food, so she sat with us and played. Grandma and Aunt Leah joined us for her weekly swim lesson. They were so cute with the camera and video camera going while she was in class. It was like she had poperotzy.
Corey's Last Day in Fatal
Corey didn't have a clue what I was up to. It was supposed to be his last day in fatal (Captain made the guys work Thanksgiving), and so it needed to be a special day. Since Corey is the center of trouble in the Fatal Department, I talked it over with them and they all pitched in for the lunch entertainment. We hired a male Marlyn Monroe to sing to Corey at lunch. It was hilarious!! He was a good sport and the guy lived through the show. I hope you all enjoy the picts.

Just for Grandma and Grandpa
This is a short clip of Madison Mania... She likes to rock back and fourth on the floor or your lap to simulate the motion she has in her bouncer. It is soooo cute, I had to share. She is in her father's lap while waiting for the Dr. to come in and do the 6th month check-up. She is getting more and more vocal too. I knew her grandparents would appreciate some live video. Sorry it's sideways, I don't know how to fix that.

Sitting up
Almost Crawling
Here we are at 6mo. and still doing tummy time each morning. She is a happy baby. You can't see, but she is now lifting up her mid section and crunching her legs under her. She almost has crawling figured out. She tends to go backwards.
This is a new toy that I got her. I highly recommend it, because it moves on its own, lights up, and sings songs. It tells numbers, animal sounds, shapes, and colors. It's from Baby Einstein. She loves it, however when it moves around it is difficult for her to play with it. It will only be a matter of time for her to chase this thing around.

Clint and Izzy's Halloween Party
My husband was like a 5 year old with this whole bobbing for apples thing. It was late and time to go, but could be go. NO. We had to bob for apples. He was so cute with his need to dive his head into a trough of dirty water to get an apple. Unfortunately he wasn't the winner.
Here is our blooming spring flower. I was supposed to make(finish) a mouse costume, when I ran into this costume at the Children's Place with my Mom. It was a must have when I saw the hat that went with it.

Madison in October...5 months old
Here is Madison eating peas... Yum. She actually likes them. I wish I had caught the pict of her sneezing on me while having a mouth full of peas. It was a wonderful display of green dots everywhere.
Everything goes into her mouth now that she knows how to put them there. She is teething, but no teeth yet.
She has also discovered her toes. So every chance she gets they're also in her mouth.
