Madison and Friends

Here is Miss Martha holding Madison just before she headed home. We had a very nice visit and soon she'll be helping me watch her as we teach. We are looking forward to Martha moving to Vegas, and I am looking forward to working with her.

This is Madison's first time in a pool. We went to an indoor community pool at the YMCA. I went with a friend who brought her one year old. She is a water baby. She likes the water, but was more irritated that I was interrupting her nap. So, we will wait until she's a bit older for the pool. Can you believe I bought that swim suit and she only got one use out of it before it was too small.

Here is Aunt Cristy and Cousin Brianna visiting Madison. Brianna keeps calling her "My Friend". She is so funny. One day my Mom, Bri, Madison, and I wen't to a baby show, and Madison started to cry because she was hungry. I was driving, so I wansn't going to stop, but Brianna was starting to cry because the baby was crying. So, I had to pull over and feed Madison. She has become a very sensitive little girl.

Madison and Daddy

Madison is now two months old. She has had about two nights of sleeping 7-8 hours solid. Most of the time she is sleeping 4-6 hours a night in one stretch. She just had her two month apt and got her shots. She did really well, the only thing was that one leg swelled up and hurt her. She screamed like we've never heard before. Once the motrin kicked in she was much better.

She weighs 12.6 lbs and is 24 inches long. She is in the 95-97% in weight and length. I think she is taking her chubbyness from my side of the family, as she is filling in really well. A bit of a resmeblance of the Michelian man. However, the Dr. says she's perfect. She is nearly out of 3-6 month onesies. Crazy how fast they grow.

This is how we typically bathe her. The shower is the easiest right now.

She is starting to smile more and more. Finally, it is due to her looking at us rather than gas.

She still fits in the sink, however, that is soon going to come to an end since she is getting so long. She likes bathing. She hates coming out of the water and into the cold air.

Here is Daddy holding her as she fell asleep in his arms all tuckered out. Ahhh.

Construction Zone - Stucco and Roof Tile

Wow - What a difference the roof and siding makes to the front of a house. If you noticed that the bay windows aren't the same color as the stucco, that's because we are going to rock those surfaces. So there are a few more pictures of the front of the house to see in the near future.

Thanks to Bob and Jan and all of their love and support, we were able to get this far. By next week, the living room will be done, the furniture will be delivered, and we can begin working on some flooring issues (ie the carpet).
