Our first time rolling over

Here is Madison attempting to roll from her front (doing tummy time) to her back. Unfortunatly I wasn't able to get the whole action, as you know these things happen fast.

Paul and Tammy's Anniversary Party

Here is Ainsley and Ava admiring the new girl to the group. These two were so cute huddled over Madison.

Here is Cousin Tennelle holding Madison for the first time. I'm sure she misses holding babies since her's are growing up so fast.

Here is Cousin Tiffany holding Madison. She was so helpful and would grab Madison when ever we were in the same room. Here babies are growing up fast too.

Ainsley was dying to see Madison and hold her, so here they are. Ainsley was very sweet, and drew her a picture and made her a bracelet.

Here is Aunt Tammy getting her time in. It was so nice being around all of this family and be able to see their love for our little addition to the Moon family. I was truly spoiled with all of the help too. I only wish I could have taken some of these very kind people home with me. Especially now that Corey has gone back to work and she is teething...yes I did say teething.

Our Summer Vacation

Corey, Madison, the dogs, and I were all planning on driving up when he finished his testing, however we came up with the idea of me flying to M-F a week earlier for a longer visit. It was much nicer being in an airplane for two hours vs. a 14+ hour drive. So it wasn't difficult for me to go for the flight. Madison did very well. She slept and ate while we were in flight. God was kind enough to ease my stress by placing me by a man who had 6 kids. Five of which were boys. Therefore, he was very understanding, even though she was really good.
Here is the happy Grandma and Grandpa with little Madison after seeing her at three weeks old. They were so surprised at how big she got since then. She was three months at the time of this trip.

Here is Aunt Leah meeting Madison for the first time.

Construction Zone - The final end of the living room additon!!

Here is Corey working hard to get the living room sanded and ready for paint. We were having the carpet and couches delivered in a day or so, therefore the painting needed to be done. Yeah, if it only worked out that way...

We were still painting when the carpet guys arrived... Less than perfect timing, but none the less, we now have very nice carpet.

While they are hammering away, very loudly, Madison sleeps. This baby will sleep through all sorts of noises, but giver her a quite room and forget it.

Pool Time with Friends

We spent the 4th of July at our friends Luke and Christine's house. They have a beautiful back yard and pool, plus they are good friends. Madison did very well (as she always does in water) and hung out by the pool. Even got a nap in right by the pool.

This is Christine holding Madison.

This is our other friends Matt and Lori. (Lori not in the pict.) They were there as well.

Here is 'Uncle' Luke. He was already spoiling her with attention by rubbing her arms and back. What a gentle giant. :o)

Madison and Friends

Here is Miss Martha holding Madison just before she headed home. We had a very nice visit and soon she'll be helping me watch her as we teach. We are looking forward to Martha moving to Vegas, and I am looking forward to working with her.

This is Madison's first time in a pool. We went to an indoor community pool at the YMCA. I went with a friend who brought her one year old. She is a water baby. She likes the water, but was more irritated that I was interrupting her nap. So, we will wait until she's a bit older for the pool. Can you believe I bought that swim suit and she only got one use out of it before it was too small.

Here is Aunt Cristy and Cousin Brianna visiting Madison. Brianna keeps calling her "My Friend". She is so funny. One day my Mom, Bri, Madison, and I wen't to a baby show, and Madison started to cry because she was hungry. I was driving, so I wansn't going to stop, but Brianna was starting to cry because the baby was crying. So, I had to pull over and feed Madison. She has become a very sensitive little girl.

Madison and Daddy

Madison is now two months old. She has had about two nights of sleeping 7-8 hours solid. Most of the time she is sleeping 4-6 hours a night in one stretch. She just had her two month apt and got her shots. She did really well, the only thing was that one leg swelled up and hurt her. She screamed like we've never heard before. Once the motrin kicked in she was much better.

She weighs 12.6 lbs and is 24 inches long. She is in the 95-97% in weight and length. I think she is taking her chubbyness from my side of the family, as she is filling in really well. A bit of a resmeblance of the Michelian man. However, the Dr. says she's perfect. She is nearly out of 3-6 month onesies. Crazy how fast they grow.

This is how we typically bathe her. The shower is the easiest right now.

She is starting to smile more and more. Finally, it is due to her looking at us rather than gas.

She still fits in the sink, however, that is soon going to come to an end since she is getting so long. She likes bathing. She hates coming out of the water and into the cold air.

Here is Daddy holding her as she fell asleep in his arms all tuckered out. Ahhh.
